What's the catch?
Are you wondering why everything is free at Piano Discoveries? There is no catch, just a change in priorities. My students are a huge inspiration to me and I love creating games and designing material that is effective and fun to use. I have learned that creating and sharing freely puts a twinkle in my eye.
Hints for printing
All of the downloadable files are pdfs, which are easily viewed and saved if you have the Acrobat Reader on your computer. I have tried to keep file sizes as small as possible without sacrificing print quality. I recommend creating a file on your computer called “Piano Discoveries”, save your downloaded documents there. Then you can look at each file and decide which pages you would like to print. You may use your home printer of course, but it is worth the extra effort to take the files to a printing service and have them done on good quality paper. Staples has a great online service which is very handy. Try to use 100 lb card stock for flashcards and 28 lb paper for worksheets. Teaching aids can also be laminated so they last a long time.
It's so nice to hear from you!
It is a delight to connect with teachers and students who have enjoyed using my material. Send me a note and tell me where you are from so I can add you to my map.
